India House in Eschwege is fantastic! The food was absolutely incredible – full of authentic flavors and perfectly prepared. The host was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The cozy environment adds to the charm, and it’s a big plus that they stay open late. Definitely a place I’ll return to and highly recommend!

The only reason why I gave 4 stars for food is that it's not really Indian. It's more like Indian cuisine adjusted for the Germans. Otherwise everything is great. The staff is good they're very polite and the overall experience is actually good. I would recommend it.

The staff are very nice, I was waiting for my take away order for a while because the restaurant was full, which is a good sign, and the barman handed me an amazing chai to drink because I had to wait. The food is absolutely delicious and not heavy or oily. Expect to experience authentic tastes of India !

As an avid Indian food fan who has eaten curry all over the world. This was the best Indian food I have had in Germany by far! Excellent and friendly service, varied dishes and types of meat, extensive vegetarian options and very tasty. Do not pay attention to the cheap people saying its too expensive, for the quality and authenticity of these dishes it is a completely fine price! If you genuinely like spicy food though, make sure to ask for extra spicy, as they sadly have to spice the food to German spice tolerance levels.
